Renaissance Faire - Escondido, CA - April 10, 2011

I went back to the Renaissance Faire in Escondido on Sunday. The main thing to see is the people, you can really tell that they enjoy what they do - and it certainly does show on their faces. I think that's what makes it so much fun to spend time at these gatherings, talking with the participants and just soaking up the atmosphere. Here are a few images from today. 

So, maybe if you're the kind of person who always has to have their life firmly grounded in reality the Renaissance Faire might not be for you. But, if you're the kind of person who can go out walking in the woods and wonder about just what sort of fantastic creatures you might happen upon . . . well, then maybe this is just the place. You have to look quickly though, sometimes it's just a fleeting glance and then it's gone.
