Portuguese Food In San Diego

I wanted to go down to Harbor Island to get a shot of the new Fly Navy sign, so Heather and I went to dinner at Tin Fish tonight. Tin Fish is primarily a seafood restaurant with a Portuguese influence. It's located in the recently restored former Naval Training Center San Diego, now known as Liberty Station.

We started out with the Bolinhos de Bacalhau, a cod-cake appetizer. These things are really good.

I had the Ervilhas, a tomato-based stew made with peas, potatoes and linguica sausage, topped with a poached egg. This, too, is quite tasty.
