The restroom in an old stone building below the Point Loma Lighthouse in San Diego, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, has to have one of the best views of any public restroom in the city.

Up Periscope
I was on the submarine USS Dolphin at the Maritime Museum of San Diego not too long ago, and took a look through the periscope.
Evening Walk on San Diego Bay
Heather and I had dinner at the sushi bar at the Fish Market Restaurant this evening, and then went for a walk along the Bay. It was a nice evening for a walk.
Big Green Lizard - San Diego Zoo
I probably should have made a note of what kind of lizard this is, but I didn't, so we'll just go with "Big Green Lizard" from the San Diego Zoo.
Malayan Tiger - San Diego Zoo
Here are some pictures of Connor, the older Malayan Tiger at the San Diego Zoo, from early January of this year.

Baby Mandrill - San Diego Zoo
Here are a few images of the baby Mandrill and his mother, from the San Diego Zoo in early January of this year.
Here's Mom.
Here's one of Jasper, the little one's father.

Sometimes You Just Have to Improvise
Anyone who has been following my blog for a while now will have noticed that I post a lot of pictures of the Malayan Tigers at the San Diego Zoo. Over the last few weeks I've not gotten many new pictures that I really like . . . so I'm going to improvise here.
It is a Tiger, and it is from the San Diego Zoo.
Eurasian Lynx
It's been a while since we've seen the Eurasian Lynx at the San Diego Zoo. They used to live in the old Cat Canyon area, but have been off exhibit since the renovation of the canyon started. Stoli recently moved to one of the enclosures next to the Polar Bears.
Territorial
Apparently peacocks are quite territorial. I've seen it before, with one trying to push people out of his territory, but I've never seen a showdown between two of them before. That's not really what is happening here, but I'm not sure that this peacock has figured it out. I watched him for quite a while, and he was sure determined to keep this intruder out.
The peacocks at the San Diego Zoo are fun to watch. They roam the whole place, going where ever they want. I've even seen them wander out into the parking lot, where staff will try to gently convince them to go back inside.
