Snow Day - Amur Leopard - San Diego Zoo

It was a "snow day" for the Asian Cats at the San Diego Zoo yesterday.  I spent some time watching the Amur Leopard explore around the fresh snow in her habitat.

Flower - Looking Like It's On Fire

I found these flowers in one of the canyons at the San Diego Zoo on Saturday.  With the deep shadows and the sunlight hitting just the flowers, they looked like they were on fire.

      

Leaping Tiger

I managed to catch one of the Malayan Tigers at the San Diego Zoo in mid-leap yesterday.  This is Berani, one of the three-year-old brothers opting to take the fast way up instead of using the stairs.

      

Golden-Headed Lion Tamarin - San Diego Zoo

Here are few pictures of the family of Golden-Headed Lion Tamarins (mother, father and son) at the San Diego Zoo.  The little one was exactly four months old yesterday, when I took these.

The little one is tiny, but he sure does move quickly.

Brand New Baby North Sulawesi Babirusa - San Diego Zoo

The San Diego Zoo has a brand new baby North Sulawesi Babirusa, born just in the last couple of days.  I got these pictures on Saturday morning.
