We went to the Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park in Carlsbad, CA for our January group shoot on Saturday morning. It was cold, with crisp, clear air - a beautiful morning for a walk around an historic early California rancho.
The ranch, located about 35 miles north of downtown San Diego, was owned by the actor Leo Carrillo from 1937 to 1961.
In addition to our little photographer group, there was also a group of watercolor painters there on Saturday morning.
The morning light is pretty nice there this time of year.
