Little Italy San Diego - Farmer's Market

It was a nice morning for a walk around the Farmer's Market in San Diego's Little Italy neighborhood.  This market is held every Saturday morning on Cedar Street between Kettner and Front Streets, and is probably one of the largest in San Diego.

It's not all fruits and vegetables of course.

We had crepes for breakfast, by the people from Le Creperie in North Park.  They always have the longest line, but that just shows how good they are, and it's well worth the wait.

There are lots of things to sample along the way too, such as these black and green olives.

And fresh flowers for sale.

On our way back to the car we stopped to check out the piranha wall at Ironside Restaurant.   You can get a table right under this wall of piranha skulls.  It gives you something to think about while you're eating fish (which is what they specialize in).
