I spent Saturday morning with Connor the Malayan Tiger at the San Diego Zoo. It's always fun to watch him when he gets the run of the lower enclosure.
The first thing he did when he came out was to hunt around for all the pieces of food that the keeper had stuck in various spots, some of them easier to get at than others.
There were a couple of mallard ducks floating around in his pond, he never quite tried to get them, but every now and then he would check to see just where they were.
On my way to the exit I noticed some particularly nice light on the Flamingos.
