Peacock

Peacocks can be quite territorial, and will definitely let you know when they think you are intruding into their territory.  This guy was coming straight towards me, and was less than 2 feet away when I decided that I didn't want to see if he could scratch the front element of my lens.

Landscapes in Black & White

I recently got some new software and thought I might convert a few older landscape photos I had into black & white, to see how it worked.

First up, Swiftcurrent Lake, Glacier National Park, Montana.

Next, Emerald Lake, Yoho National Park, British Columbia.

Finally, 17 Palms Oasis, Anza Borrego Desert State Park, California.
