Valentine's Day With The Tigers

It was really nice outside on Sunday in San Diego, so I spent the morning (and part of the afternoon) with Berani and Cinta, the now-two-years-old Malayan Tiger brothers at the San Diego Zoo.

Their keeper had put out a special Valentine's Day present for them. Berani seemed to really enjoy it.

They were taking turns keeping an eye on their older brother Connor.

Here are a couple images of Cinta.

And, for anyone who might be wondering, I did not ignore Heather on Valentine's Day.  We had a very nice dinner at the sushi bar at the Fish Market Restaurant on San Diego Bay.  I even got her a present, a pair of earrings I found in the gift shop at the Zoo.  They were little hand painted tigers.  It seemed appropriate.

Scroll down a bit to see a little more about that heart-shaped treat.
